Question 1

Is this allowed by Meta and Instagram?

Accepted Answer

Yes, 100%. INSTAX is built entirely on the official Instagram Graph API, the same secure messaging platform Meta provides for partners. We send exactly one private reply per comment, strictly inside Meta's official 24-hour window.

Question 2

Will my Instagram account get flagged or shadowbanned?

Accepted Answer

No. Staying strictly inside Instagram's rules is our core engineering architecture. Every DM is dispatched through a smart queue with human-like jitter delays, and our built-in Spintax engine ensures every message variation is unique.

Question 3

Do I need an Instagram Creator or Business account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Meta requires an Instagram professional account (Creator or Business) connected to a Facebook Page to grant Graph API access. Switching in the Instagram app is free, takes under 60 seconds, and we guide you step-by-step.

Question 4

What is Follow-Gate and how does it work?

Accepted Answer

Follow-gate verifies whether a commenter follows your profile before sending the requested resource. If they don't follow you yet, INSTAX sends a friendly prompt asking them to follow, then automatically delivers the link as soon as they do.

Question 5

Can I collect emails and phone numbers directly in DM?

Accepted Answer

Yes. On Pro and Growth plans, your automation flow can ask for their email address or phone number. Verified responses are saved with their Instagram handle and can be exported as a CSV or synced via webhook.

Question 6

Can I control INSTAX using AI tools like Claude Desktop or Cursor via MCP?

Accepted Answer

Yes! INSTAX includes a native Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. You can connect Claude Desktop, Cursor, or your own LLM agents to create automations, query leads, and check follower statuses automatically using natural language.

Question 7

Do you support outgoing webhooks and CRM integrations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every plan includes outgoing HTTPS webhooks with HMAC-SHA256 signature verification. You can stream comment triggers, story mentions, follower unlocks, and captured leads in real time directly to HubSpot, Klaviyo, Zapier, Make, or your custom API.

Question 8

How fast is setup and do I need to write code?

Accepted Answer

Setup takes under 2 minutes. Connect your Instagram account with Meta OAuth, describe what you want or set a keyword (e.g. LINK), type your DM, and turn it on. Zero code, zero Zapier complexity, and zero extensions.
